On June 1st, the Elmwood Supply name was retired and changed to Kuiken Brothers. Our focus on commercial building materials will remain as it always has in Garfield, NJ and you will now have access to all of those products at our Succasunna, NJ facility as well. For over 40 years, Elmwood Supply’s primary focus has been commercial building materials including drywall, steel studs, ceiling tile and grid, insulation, hollow metal doors, frames and hardware and of course all of the ancillary products that go along with these categories. Nine years ago, Elmwood Supply became a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Kuiken Brothers Company and up until June of last year, remained our only outlet for these products. Given the size and opportunities presented by our new Succasunna, NJ facility, we decided to not only offer our traditional line of residential building materials, typical for a Kuiken Brothers location, but also to incorporate the commercial side of our business into that site as well. In some sense it was a second location for Elmwood Supply. Obviously, we could not have two names on the building, two different signs out front or run two separate billing systems at one location. While the Elmwood Supply name will change, Kuiken Brothers’ commitment to our customers will remain the same. We look forward to working with you on your next commercial project.
Increased Inventory & Delivery Capabilities
Kuiken Brothers in-stock commercial building material offering increased significantly when we opened our newest location in Succasunna, NJ. Similar to Garfield, Succasunna offers a huge in-stock selection of drywall, metal studs, acoustical ceiling, insulation and more. Having two locations with similar inventories also increases our delivery and logistical capabilities.
Kuiken Brothers fleet of vehicles includes 4, 6 and 8 story boom capabilities for all types of projects, including government, health care, educational, retail and multi-family.
