The new inventory assortment of residential and commercial building materials essentially creates a Succasunna, NJ style yard in the heart of Bergen County with easy access to some of the busiest markets in eastern Bergen County. For both pick-up and delivery, the site is accessible to Rt 17, the Garden State Parkway, NYS Thruway and 12 miles from both the George Washington Bridge and Tappan Zee Bridge.

Traffic flow will remain the same, where customers will enter from Kinderkamack Rd. and meet with our sales team in the sales office and millwork showroom. From there, the customer will enter the yard and exit either on Chestnut or Lozier depending on whether you are picking up lumber from the yard or millwork items from the warehouse.
One of the two new drive-through warehouses boasts 25,000 square feet of dry storage with four loading docks for receiving and shipping materials. “We are excited not only for our core Emerson customers in the eastern Bergen County markets, but also our Fair Lawn, Garfield and Midland Park, NJ locations,” said Matthew Kuiken, Vice President of Operations. “This new facility will increase our inventory and delivery capabilities in the core of our market, allowing for faster and more efficient product distribution for customer pick-up or jobsite direct delivery requests for all locations.”
The brand new steel warehouse features 25,000 square feet of covered storage and includes a drive-thru warehouse and state-of-the-art racking technology to help us safely store and efficiently pull material.
A 12,000 square foot steel shed was constructed on the exact site of the previous warehouse. The core materials stocked in this space are drywall (from 6′ to 16′ lengths) and other sheet and panel goods. This continues our expansion plans to offer a wide range of commercial building materials outside of our Garfield, NJ. Similar commercial building material offerings are now available at our Succasunna location and and will continue to expand when our Newark, NJ yard opens its doors at the end of 2017.
Over 125,000 lineal feet of Boise Cascade Engineered Lumber (I-Joists, LVL) will be on-site at any given time, stored in our new covered steel racking.
The Emerson location also has a rail siding which enables us to efficiently receive lumber directly from the premier mills on the West Coast, including this rail car of Douglas Fir studs from Seneca Sawmills in Oregon.
