When the W Design Collective set out to create their dream office in Holladay, Utah, they had a clear vision: a space that could accommodate their growing team, inspire creativity, and reflect their meticulous design ethos. After searching high and low, they found the perfect canvas and got to work designing the interiors from the ground up. Every detail became a reflection of their collaborative spirit, with nearly every designer on their team contributing to the selections.
We were thrilled to be part of this transformative project. Our Classical Moulding Collection played a key role in elevating the office’s timeless aesthetic. The collection’s rich profiles and architectural details brought depth and character to the space, enhancing the creativity that flows through every corner of the W Design Collective’s new home.
The designers at W Design Collective knew the importance of creating an environment that balances functionality with beauty. Our Classical Moulding profiles, crafted to echo historic American architecture, fit seamlessly into their vision, blending tradition with modern design principles. Whether framing doorways, accenting ceilings, or adding a polished touch to walls, the mouldings enhanced the overall ambiance, creating a cohesive, inspiring workspace.
The moulding sample mockup above is an example of the classic American moulding profiles installed throughout the space. Pictured above, KB227 (3/4″ x 7-1/2″ base) and KB102 (1-11/16″ x 4-1/2″ casing). The KB136 (1-13/16″ x 3-1/2″ casing) was used throughout W Design Collective’s new office. These profiles are from Kuiken Brothers’ Federal Moulding collection, which became popular after the Revolutionary War between the 1770’s and through the early 1800’s. Inspired by English architect Robert Adam, the Federal mouldings are lighter and delicate. The cavetto shapes and simple beads help the moulding to read as more refined in a room.
