Reeb’s authentic primed Stile and Rail doors offer a level of detail and definition that cannot be matched! When anyone is looking for a classic, painted look, popular interior door, Stile and Rail construction provides crisp shadow lines with highly defined panel details resulting in a high end looking product.
Stile and Rails
The stiles and rails have a solid wood engineered core for added strength, stability, and reduced sound transmission. The core is covered with an MDF veneer which is permanently bonded to the core resisting dents, dings, and gouges and makes for a superior paint surface.
- Stiles have a solid engineered core for added strength and stability
- The rails are also made of solid engineered core
- Panels can be MDF to create a solid door or glass to create a French door
- Dowel pins are used to join the stiles and rails together
- An MDF veneer is added over the core to create a smooth staining or painting surface
Each door is made with perfectly proportioned stiles, rails, and panels that are created individually to ensure that every door looks balanced and is pleasing to the eye.
Solid Engineered Core
The interior of a primed stile and rail door has a solid engineered core adding stability and reducing sound transmission. A solid engineered core is defined as multiple pieces of wood joined together to create a solid wood door without being solid components.
Recent developments within the millwork industry continue to strengthen the case for primed stile and rail doors, making them an excellent choice for anyone seeking increased strength, better durability, better aesthetics, and greater life expectancy at a similar price point to their molded door counterparts.
Due to their construction method, stile and rail doors can have any number of panels but can also include glass to transfer natural light. Whether you choose the simplistic one panel or a craftsman three panel, there is a design to match your home.
