A LITTLE MORE ABOUT HOFFMAN:
What are your favorite types of windows and doors to work with?
Marvin’s Ultimate Wood Double Hung Magnum can be truly massive and still operate with one finger due to the balance system. I have also found that Andersen’s Big Door Collection of lift and slide and bifold doors is extremely versatile and allows me to offer a range of solutions for clients looking for custom options.
What was the most unique project that you worked on?
A cabin that was originally a “beer hall” at the 1964 World’s Fair that was moved to a pond on the North Fork of Long Island. The end result was a private getaway in the middle of one of the most populated areas of the country.
Are you familiar with urban markets/ projects?
I have worked on Brownstone renovations in Brooklyn and Manhattan, mostly double-hungs on the front elevation but the back of the home usually had a modern design to maximize their garden view.
Manufacturer Expertise:
Andersen Windows, Marvin Windows, TruStile Doors, Simpson Doors, Signature Doors and Kuiken Brothers Classical Moulding.
