In-Store Sales Resume May 18, 2020 with Safety Protocols at Kuiken Brothers

On behalf of all of Kuiken Brothers sales, operation and administrative staff, we are pleased to announce that we are now resuming in-store sales activity at all of our locations. Below are the steps that we have taken to provide you with an in-person sales experience, while keeping your health and the health of our entire team our top priority.  We can’t thank you enough for your patience and understanding over the last two months. This has been a challenge to our team. There is no doubt this has been a challenge to you and your team as you work to complete your projects.

Our cabinetry showrooms will continue to operate by virtual appointment and we are taking in-store appointments each day for millwork (window, door moulding) and deck and railing inquiries.  You are still encouraged to contact our team by e-mail or through our website contact form (see below for direct contacts at each location). These forms are monitored by a number of our sales representatives and are often followed up faster than having to wait on hold. If your inquiry is not urgent, e-mail and web form submissions are highly encouraged.

Below are the safety measures in place that you will notice at each of our stores to help protect you and our staff.

Face coverings are required for anyone who enters our facilities, as well as when loading materials into your vehicle with our staff. If you do not have access to a face covering, we will provide you with one.

Please maintain a distance of at least 6′ between one another. Sneeze guards and 6′ perimeters have been marked out around our sales counters. Markings have been added to the floor to designate 6′ spacing.  If possible, please only have one employee enter the store from your company when placing orders.

We will be limiting the total number of occupants within our locations in order to maintain proper social distancing.  Please only have one employee enter the store from your company when placing orders.

Monday – Friday – 7:00am – 4:00pm. Saturday & Sunday Closed.  Kuiken Brothers locations remain open for business, however we have reduced our hours of operation and will be closing our doors at 4pm Monday through Friday and will be closed on Saturdays until further notice.

   

Kuiken Brothers’ drivers and operations representatives will be wearing gloves and face coverings at our locations as well as on jobsites for deliveries. They will also be maintaining 6′ distancing at all times.

One positive outcome from this pandemic is that we have had a chance to fine tune our digital communication processes. We still highly encourage our customers to submit questions, quote requests and orders by e-mail or through our website contact form. If you are placing an order for pickup, our team will call, email or text when it is ready for pickup. We continue to operate our 90+ vehicles for jobsite direct deliveries. Our drivers are working very hard to minimize jobsite contact and we appreciate your efforts continuing with these procedures.

Delivery of material continues to be your best option and with our fleet of nearly 100 vehicles, we’ll make it happen. If you need materials, we will deliver them. We will pull the material and contact you when your order is ready. Our team will load your vehicle for you. We request that you remain in your vehicle until the material is loaded where you can then secure your load.
