On Wednesday June 3rd we will be hosting USP Structural Connectors, who will be offering a (1) one hour AIA accredited course titled “Structural Lumber Connector Design & Specification”. The course objective is to clarify current design issues in regard to connector specification: overview of the construction industry needs and available products; design and testing issues; high wind construction.

On Wednesday June 10th, we will be hosting JELD-WEN Doors, who will be offering a (1) one hour AIA accredited course (also qualifies for HSW) titled “Overview of Stile and Rail Doors (Wood & Fiberglass).” The course objective is to clarify the basics and the benefits of engineered stile & rail door construction, learn how to use the exposure coefficient and select the appropriate door material, explore the technology behind composite materials, have a better understanding of the design flexibility & energy efficiency options available with wood and fiberglass doors.
