Kuiken Brothers now offers a new family of high-performance ceiling solutions designed specifically for today's healthcare facilities: CertainTeed Ceilings Rx Symphony ceiling panels.
The new product line is comprised of:
All Rx Symphony panels are optimized to meet performance guidelines set by The Facilities Guidelines Institute's "Guidelines for Design and Construction of Health Care Facilities" (2010 Edition). Similar to the popular existing Symphony product line, Rx Symphony panels provide superior acoustical performance and visual appeal with added durability to withstand the demands of high-traffic healthcare settings.
Rx Symphony panels provide superior washability, stain resistance and scratch resistance, necessary for hospital emergency rooms, nurse stations and patient rooms. The panels also feature CertainTeed's enhanced Overtone® finish, which provides a brighter, more monolithic appearance. Tested according to clean room class 4 (ISO 14644-1), the panels emit virtually no particles and are VOC compliant to the California Department of Public Health Standard Method Version 1.1, 2010 — all of which contribute to healthy indoor air.

Check out CertainTeed Ceilings new Ecophon Wall Panel, providing superior sound absorption and a wide range of design options for dynamic interior spaces. The panels are ideal for areas where additional sound absorption is desired —such as schools, offices and healthcare facilities or spaces where a traditional suspended ceiling system cannot be used.
The Ecophon Wall Panel is comprised of a high-density glass wool core, providing class A sound absorption according to ISO 11654. The panels are available in a variety of surface options for added performance and versatility in interior designs.
"There are a number of situations where a wall-to-wall suspended ceiling system either cannot be installed or would not be sufficient to create desired acoustics," said Dawn Chittick, director of marketing for CertainTeed Ceilings. "Daycare centers or schools for younger children, for example, may require additional sound absorbing material to reduce overall sound levels. Ecophon wall panels provide a versatile solution that not only provides outstanding sound absorption, but helps create truly inspired interior spaces."
The Ecophon Wall Panel is available in two finishes — Texona and Super G. The Texona fabric range boasts 16 different color options that were carefully developed in collaboration with interior designers, architects and textile designers. Each color alludes to a flavor, such as Blueberry, Rhubarb and Wasabi, and offers a wide range of expressively tasteful design solutions.
The Super G fabric range for the Ecophon Wall Panel features a glass fiber laminate designed for high impact resistance and added durability in high-traffic environments. The Super G finish is available in three colors—White, Grey and Green.
The Ecophon Wall Panel is available in one size, 2700 mm x 600 mm x 40 mm (approximately 24-inch x 106-inch x 1.5-inch). The panels have beveled edges on the long sides creating a narrow groove between panels when installed. Both panel options utilize CertainTeed's Connect WP profile, an extruded aluminum channel trim that creates a defined frame around the wall panels. The Connect WP profile is available in White, Black and Anodized. Ecophon wall panels with Texona and Super G finishes are easy to install, while providing exceptional acoustical benefit in new and renovated commercial building applications.

Responding to growing interest from the architect and design community for seamless wall-to-ceiling surface designs, CertainTeed Corporation has introduced a new family of Gyptone BIG Large Format Perforated Acoustic Panels. The perforated gypsum panels allow for monolithic ceiling and wall designs without visible breaks or joints and provide superior acoustics for open lobbies, classrooms and office spaces.
The Gyptone BIG family includes four products, each with a distinct pattern of perforations and acoustic backing tissue, providing excellent acoustical performance. Quattro 41 features a square perforation pattern, while Line 6 features line perforations. Sixto 63 and Sixto 65 each feature hexagonal perforation patterns.
Gyptone BIG panels offer NRCs from 0.60 to 0.75, depending on the perforation pattern, and a CAC of 35. All panels are made with 80 percent post-consumer and 5 percent pre-consumer recycled content and can be fully recycled into the manufacturing of new gypsum products. Gyptone BIG boards are suitable for direct or suspended screw mounting and can be easily painted with a short-nap roller. CertainTeed offers a compatible grid system and complementary Gyptone ceiling tiles for each BIG pattern, providing a clean, monolithic transition between vertical and horizontal room surfaces. Integrated hatch panels are also available for all Gyptone products allowing easy access to the plenum.

AirRenew Gypsum Board is for use in interior walls and ceilings and is specially designed to offer a healthier living and working environment by improving indoor air quality and offering peace of mind for generations.
AirRenew takes VOCs out of the air and converts them into safe inert compounds. Once they are captured in the board, they cannot be released back into the air. M2Tech technology also improves indoor air quality by providing enhanced moisture and mold resistance.
These claims were recently validated by UL Environment Inc. which has completed the Environmental Claim Validation process. Specifically, UL Environment confirmed four product claims: permanent formaldehyde absorption capacity, mold resistance, recycled content, and regional materials. The Environmental Claim Validations apply to AirRenew, AirRenew Extreme Abuse, and AirRenew Extreme Impact IAQ Gypsum Boards.

Once you bend Ready-Track to any shape you want, you can install wood or metal studs; framing screws can be easily added at each tab for additional stiffness and a permanently locked shape.
